SPAR Retailer Agreement with Newry Filling Station
In this transaction we provided expert advice on a number of issues surrounding the construction of a local petrol filling station and convenience store. Or advice primarily included dealing with title matters in order to secure finance from a lender for development costs together with negotiating retailer agreements for the SPAR brand. These agreements included provision for loyalty schemes and stock loans for our client’s benefit. Equally we were able to protect our client’s interest in relation to the covenants and obligations contained therein on their part. Additionally we reviewed fuel and signage supplier agreements to complete the fit out of the forecourt.
Our experience in dealing with retailers trading from properties of this nature with suppliers such as SPAR and MACE allowed us to provide advice to give our client advantage in negotiations.
